Louise has 25 years of varied executive experience in healthcare serving on numerous senior teams in healthcare and life science, including GlaxoSmithKline plc. and an NHS Foundation Trust Board. A biochemist by training, she has worked mostly in the biopharmaceutical sector and has significant experience of leading internal and external communications in life-sciences research and development environments. In 2022, Louise was awarded a PhD for her research into effective communication around complex and controversial science. Louise holds a lectureship at Cumbria University and is a Trustee at the Lake District Calvert Trust.
